Job Summary
Children/Adolescent- The Children/Adolescent Behavioral Health Specialist completes an assessment and ongoing outpatient behavioral health therapy to children and their families to address their mental health concerns. Coordinates and collaborates with child/adolescent psychiatry when needed. Collaboration with children’s school and assists with making appropriate referrals to services when needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work or Master’s degree in psychology or counseling with appropriate accreditation. Substance abuse counseling certification preferred.
- Licensed Master’s Social Worker in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the behavioral health setting. Previous experience in the public health or community health center setting preferred.
